We transformed this Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn backyard deck into a functional, family-friendly outdoor living space. Our team removed the deteriorated deck boards and outdated wood railings, then repaired and reinforced the existing structure. To enhance moisture protection and extend the lifespan of the framing, we installed Trex® Joist Tape over the joists. We installed Trex Clam Shell composite decking, paired with sleek Trex Charcoal railings, creating a modern, low-maintenance deck built to withstand NYC weather conditions. To maximize the usability of the backyard at night, we added Trex post cap lights to the railing posts for both safety and ambiance. The result is a durable, low-maintenance backyard retreat—perfect for relaxing, entertaining, and spending quality family time day and night.
