We redesigned this rooftop terrace in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn, NY, restoring both its structure and beauty. Our team began by repairing the damaged rooftop deck framing and replacing compromised Ipe hardwood deck boards to ensure long-term stability and safety. To revitalize the surface, we carefully sanded the entire Ipe deck using fine-grit sanding techniques, preparing it for refinishing while preserving the integrity of the hardwood. We then applied two coats of premium DeckWise® hardwood Ipe oil, enhancing the natural richness of the wood while providing deep protection against weather and UV exposure. For added privacy and a modern aesthetic, we installed Trex Toasted Sand composite fencing around the perimeter of the terrace. The result is a refreshed, durable rooftop oasis—perfect for family gatherings, relaxing evenings, and creating lasting memories in the heart of Brooklyn.
