We designed and built a custom rooftop terrace featuring premium Ipe Brazilian hardwood decking in Brooklyn Heights. This project began with the complete removal of approximately 750 square feet of deteriorated decking across two sections of the rooftop. Our team installed a new, reinforced framing system to properly support the new Ipe hardwood deck boards, ensuring long-term structural integrity and performance. We also used premium Ipe hardwood oil from DeckWise to protect and enhance the natural beauty of the decking while improving durability against New York City’s climate. Additionally, we custom-built more than 30 planter boxes using matching Ipe hardwood, creating a seamless and cohesive rooftop garden design. The finished rooftop terrace combines durability, luxury, and natural beauty—delivering a high-end outdoor living space built to withstand New York City’s climate.
